Dolphins HC Mike McDaniel said Jalen Ramsey (hamstring) will practice on Friday, but he “doesn’t know” if Ramsey will play in Week 1 against the Jaguars.

Ramsey is fresh off signing a three-year extension, but his Week 1 status appears very much up in the air at this time. The veteran corner has been nursing a hamstring injury for the last several weeks and has not practiced this week. It sounds like he’ll officially be listed as limited for Friday, but his game-day status will tell more about his Week 1 availability. If Ramsey cannot go in Week 1, veteran corner Siran Neal is listed behind him on the team’s unofficial depth chart. Neal is a former fifth-round pick from the 2018 draft class and has never played more than 174 defensive snaps in a season, per PFF.
