Marshall Jr. (6â0/194) stepped right into the starting lineup as a freshman in 2021 and went on to record a gaudy 2,418 snaps over his career with the Gators. In pass defense, Marshall flashes click and cover ability, having allowed a stingy 47.6% completion rate during his four years in Gainesville. However, he is a bit inconsistent at times against the run having recorded a 16%+ missed tackle rate in every season. Marshall has good awareness but heâs not as aggressive as he could be and lacks requisite makeup speed when he is in a trailing position. Overall, Marshall doesnât really have jaw-dropping stats, but his build and versatility could land him in a special teams role with nickel potential as he grows.
