Ewers now assumes No. 3 quarterback duties behind Tua Tagovailoa and Zach Wilson, though he has a chance to push the latter player for the No. 2 spot. Ewers landed on a good depth chart to find a path to playing time between Tagovailoa’s concussion issues and Wilson’s lack of NFL success. Should he ever find his way to live NFL action, he will have multiple speedy pass-catching options who can pick up yards after the catch effectively.
