This Michigan man is the son of former No. 4 overall pick Chris Hinton, who went to the Colts in the John Elway trade. The younger Hinton moved from Stanford to Michigan following the departure of David Shaw. He made 16 starts at right tackle over three years before transferring. Hinton was a backup in 2023 and took over as the Wolverinesā starting left tackle in 2024. Hinton barely tested at all at Michiganās Pro Day or the NFL Combine and had just a 69.9 PFF offensive grade for the Wolverines in 2024. Heās a viable third-day pick based on size (6-foot-6, 342 pounds) and bloodline, but thereās not really a standout trait or skill for his team to hang their hat on here.
