The Athletic’s Brooks Kubena was the first to report the deal. The Super Bowl-winning head coach will now be in Philly for the foreseeable future after signing what we can only assume is a lucrative extension. In his four seasons with the Eagles, Sirianni has gone 48-20 in the regular season while going 6-3 in the post season and appearing in two Super Bowls. He’s led the Eagles to three double-digit win seasons during his tenure while coaching the team to a top-seven offensive season last year and also boasting a defense that ranked second in points allowed and first in yards allowed. The marriage between Sirianni and the Eagles has appeared rocky at times, but most coaches would envy the run he has enjoyed during his first four years at the helm. Now, as he prepares for his title defense season, Sirianni will have plenty of job security for now and the foreseeable future.
