Johnson pulled out of the head coaching carousel last offseason to stay with the Lions and has the offense firing on all cylinders through three months. Detroit ranks first in points per game and second in yards per game as of Week 12. If Johnson can land the plane with a postseason run, he will have multiple opportunities to lead a team next year.
