James Cook rushed 10 times for 44 yards in the Bills’ Week 9 win over the Dolphins, adding five receptions for 25 yards.

Cook again handled fewer than 60 percent of the Bills’ snaps, this time ceding six touches and a touchdown to Ray Davis. That does not include an unconverted Davis goal-line carry in the fourth quarter. For his part, Cook failed twice on totes inside the Dolphins’ five. Davis’s touchdown came from 63 yards out on a Josh Allen dump-off. Nothing has materially changed in this backfield, but that includes Cook’s ongoing inability to banish Davis from the rotation. That keeps Cook locked in as a volatile option in the RB14-18 range ahead of Week 10 vs. the Colts.
