The veteran will join the Jets in training camp this week. Williams tore his ACL in Week 3 of the 2023 season and has rehabbed in recent months after signing a one-year deal with the Jets in the offseason. Entering his age-30 season, Williams profiles as the Jets’ main downfield threat and the No. 2 receiver behind Garrett Wilson. Williams has said his goal was to be a full go for the Jets’ season opener against the 49ers. A healthy season for the injury-plagued Williams would be a boon for New York’s precariously thin offense.
