Holmes and head coach Dan Campbell are under contract through the 2027 season. Both have been instrumental in turning around a Lions team that won 14 games from 2018 through 2020, going 21-26-1 during their three-year run. They also made an appearance in last year’s NFC Championship game. Holmes has strung together several top draft classes since joining the team, adding Aidan Hutchinson with the No. 2 overall pick in 2022 and Jahmyr Gibbs, Jack Campbell, and Sam LaPorta last season. LaPorta was named to a Pro Bowl and earned Second-team All-Pro honors as a rookie, and he looks like a multi-year All-Pro in the making. Now under contract through 2027, Holmes and Campbell will look to continue building toward a championship that once felt out of reach just two years ago.
