Alexander (6’1/187) brings a long, lean frame and ball production pedigree after starring at Southeastern Louisiana before making the jump to LSU. A former FCS All-American, Alexander stepped into SEC play in 2023 and immediately held his own before tearing his ACL mid-season. He rebounded in 2024, allowing a stingy 43.5 percent completion rate and earning an 81.8 PFF coverage grade, ranking in the top 10 percent of college corners. His length and timing allow him to leverage vertical stems and contest catch points with confidence. He’s disruptive at the catch point (18 career PBUs, 11 INTs), using savvy swipes and leverage to disrupt receivers. However, Alexander’s athletic testing left a lot to be desired. He turned in a 4.56 40-yard dash, 1.60 10-yard split, and 31.5” vert translated to a poor 3.48 Relative Athletic Score. On tape, he’s a bit clunky transitioning and can be late to react when caught peeking into the backfield. He is best suited in a Cover 3 or quarters scheme where he can use his length, instincts, and vision.
