Sports Illustrated’s Albert Breer reports the Texans have “started sniffing around on a trade up” for an offensive lineman.

After dealing Laremy Tunsil to the Commanders, the Texans have an extra third-round pick this year and an extra second-round pick in 2026 to maneuver their way around the draft board. Nick Caserio is no stranger to trading up — Will Anderson Jr. is only his most famous strike as he’s also paid up for the picks to select players like Nico Collins and John Metchie — so this would not at all be surprising from a need and talent perspective. Particularly if Caserio sees a huge tier drop on his preferred linemen in the teens.
