McLaurin hauled in a beautiful over-the-shoulder catch for 35 yards on Washingtonâs first drive and seemed in for a huge game, but he and Bucsâ cornerback Jamel Dean were locked in a pretty good battle for much of the day. When Dean hurt his knee in the third quarter, McLaurin capitalized and burned Deanâs backup for a crucial fourth-quarter touchdown. The Commanders will need plenty of big plays from McLaurin next week if they hope to go into Detroit and upset the Lions.
