Tyjae Spears

Titans RB Tyjae Spears (ankle) did not practice Wednesday.

Spears tweaked his ankle in the Titans’ Week 2 loss to the Jets. He went down in the third quarter and did not return. NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport reported on Monday that Spears “should be ok.” After missing Wednesday’s session, it looks like Rapoport could have been a bit optimistic about his status. Spears wasn’t seeing a ton of touches but was taking plenty of work from Tony Pollard on passing downs. Pollard will go from a solid RB2 to a potential RB1 if Spears misses any time.
