A hamstring injury isn’t what we would have guessed from a video that showed Durant getting stepped on by a teammate in a delicate area. Regardless, the Cowboys have ruled out the 28-year-old corner with a hamstring injury, so we’ll if he’s able to go in Week 3 when the Cowboys play host to the Ravens.

Durant has started 29-of-32 over the last two seasons, totaling 80 tackles, 15 pass breakups, and four interceptions. He has played almost exclusively on the outside over that span, and earned a PFF coverage grade of 67.4 last season while allowing 41-483-5 to opposing receivers on 70 targets. He’ll likely get a chance to earn a starting spot on the outside that was occupied by Trevon Diggs for a portion of last season before the team released him after Week 17.
