Elliot was listed as a limited participant for the Eagles’ Wednesday practice. The 31-year-old has made 6-of-7 field goals this season and all 17 extra points. He is still trending to play in Week 9, but if the Eagles add another kicker sometime this week, that would indicate Elliot’s ankle injury is a real issue.

Per NFL Network’s Mike Garafolo, Elliott’s base salary went down from $6 million to $5 million. In turn, the Eagles guaranteed all of the money. Elliott struggled in 2025, hitting on just 20-of-27 field goal attempts. Four of his misses came from 50+ yards out. This season could be a make-or-break campaign for Elliott.

Elliott narrowly missed on a 52-yard attempt in the second half as the Eagles choked away a big lead to the Cowboys. He’s now missed three of his 14 field goal tries on the season. The Eagles’ red zone aggressiveness and use of the tush push near the goal line makes Elliott a dicey weekly bet for fantasy purposes. Elliott has one or zero field goal attempts in eight games this season. He should remain on waiver wires in Week 13 against Chicago.
