In a powerful display at Globe Life Field, Texas launched four home runs and rode a dominant performance from ace Jacob deGrom to cruise past the Oakland Athletics 6-2, moving to 52-50 on the season.

Any concerns about rust after a 10-day layoff were erased almost immediately. Jacob deGrom was simply masterful. After surrendering a leadoff homer, he settled in and completely shut down the A's lineup, striking out nine batters over six brilliant innings without issuing a single walk. The performance earned him his 10th win of the season, marking the fifth time in his illustrious career he's reached double-digit victories. Throwing 60 of his 86 pitches for strikes, deGrom looked every bit the ace the Rangers need for a second-half push.
While deGrom handled business on the mound, the offense provided the fireworks. Adolis García got the party started in the fourth, tying the game with a solo shot. Two innings later, Marcus Semien delivered the go-ahead run in dramatic fashion, hooking a 364-foot homer just inside the left-field foul pole—a call confirmed by replay. But the knockout blow came from the team's hottest hitter. In the seventh, Corey Seager blew the game wide open with a towering 399-foot, three-run homer that put the Rangers comfortably ahead for good.
