Adam Schefter of ESPN reports that the Commanders have traded DT John Ridgeway III to the Saints.

Schefter reports that the Saints will send the Commanders a 2025 sixth- round pick while New Orleans also receives a 2025 seventh-round selection. Ridgeway III played in all 17 games last year for Washington and finished with 31 tackles after procuring 24 of them in 15 appearances for the Commanders in 2023. The former Cowboy and fifth-round selection will provide depth in the interior for the Saints in 2024.
