Alvin Kamara

Alvin Kamara

NOSRB • #41

Alvin Kamara rushed 26 times for 87 yards in the Saints’ Week 3 loss to the Eagles, adding three receptions for 40 yards.

Kamara was bottled up on the ground but showed off his big-play ability with a 27-yard reception along the sideline early in the fourth quarter. Offensive coordinator Klint Kubiak lined him up in the slot and got him matched up with Eagles linebacker Zack Baun on a fade route. Kamara got a step on the lumbering linebacker and brought down the long-ball from Derek Carr. Even when Kamara gets stonewalled on the ground, his receiving workload is enough to prevent him from hitting a week-losing floor for fantasy managers. He projects for RB1 numbers in his upcoming matchup with Atlanta.
