Bengals DE Trey Hendrickson is participating in voluntary workouts despite his trade request.

The Bengals posted a video of Hendrickson participating in drills on Monday. The veteran pass rusher, who totaled 17.5 sacks last season, is hoping for a long-term extension from the Bengals or a trade to a team that is willing to give him said deal. In three seasons with the Bengals, Hendrickson has totaled 39.5 sacks and has been voted to the Pro Bowl in each of those three seasons. Hendrickson, 29, signed a one-year extension last offseason to remain with the team through 2025 but is likely looking to capitalize on what could be his last big contract. He’ll be entering his age 32 season by the time he hits the open market, and is more than deserving of a deal befitting a top pass rusher.
