Jermaine Burton

Bengals signed WR Jermaine Burton to a rookie contract.

Burton was a third-round pick, 80th overall, out of the University of Alabama. He played in 26 games with 24 starts in two seasons with the Crimson Tide, hauling in 79 catches for 1,475 yards and 15 TDs. In 2023, he led the SEC and ranked sixth nationally in yards per reception at 20.5. Burton had previously spent two seasons at the University of Georgia and was coming off a modest 2021 season before transferring, posting 26 catches for 497 yards and five TDs on just 225 passing down snaps. The Bengals will hope he can help fill the void left by Tyler Boyd’s departure.
