Bills agreed to terms with WR Curtis Samuel, formerly of the Commanders, on a three-year, $24 million contract.

The deal is worth “up to” $30 million. It’s a badly, badly needed additional weapon for an offense that was already short-handed before it lost Gabe Davis in free agency. One of the league’s most versatile offensive chess pieces, Samuel will be reuniting with OC Joe Brady, who oversaw his career year in Carolina in 2020. Samuel has had trouble sustaining fantasy value because of the uneven nature of his touches, but he should make a huge real life difference for the Bills, while it’s possible he could end up providing steady WR3 returns depending on where he falls in the touches pecking order.
