Brian Thomas

Brian Thomas

JAXWR • #7

Brian Thomas Jr. caught 5-of-8 targets for 122 yards and a touchdown in the Jaguars’ Week 5 win over the Colts.

The first 100-yard game of Thomas’ professional career was powered by an 85-yard scoring strike in the second quarter. With the Colts’ defense cheating up, Thomas got a 1-on-1 matchup with Dallis Flowers and simply ran by the third-year corner. Trevor Lawrence did not miss, and Thomas did not slow down en route to the house. He has now scored in back-to-back games and reached at least eight targets in three straight contests. Coming into every-week WR2 viability, Thomas continues to hint at WR1 upside if the Jags want to increase his usage. The Bears are unfortunately a tough Week 6 matchup for the entire Jags passing attack.
