Broncos selected Utah WR Devaughn Vele with the No. 235 overall pick in the 2024 NFL Draft.

Vele (6’4/203) will be a 26-year-old rookie, making him one of the oldest players in this year’s class. The five-year prospect didn’t make an impact until his third season at Utah and had a career-high 55-695-5 in 2022. Vele has good size and speed (4.47 40-yard dash) but didn’t generate many yards after the catch (3.0 YAC/REC) and had a 39.6 contested catch rate for his career. His age and sub-par production could prove detrimental to his long-term outlook, as he’ll need a few years to develop his pro game.
