C.J. Stroud said Stefon Diggs will bring “wisdom” to the Texans receiver room.

Stroud said Tuesday that he was “very excited” when he heard Houston had acquired the disgruntled Diggs from the Bills. “He adds a ton of value to that room, a lot of wisdom that he carries that will spread to the other guys,” Stroud said, adding Diggs has reached out to Texans players over the past week. The Texans removed the final three years of Diggs’ contract, making his current contract a one-year deal. Headed into his age-31 season, coming off a down 2023 campaign, Diggs will compete for targets with Tank Dell and Nico Collins, both of whom are far better than any wideout Diggs played with in Buffalo.
