Hayden Hurst

Chargers TE Hayden Hurst (groin) did not participate in Wednesday’s practice.

Hurst has been out since exiting the Chargers’ Week 6 game against the Broncos with a groin injury. Will Dissly stepped up for him in Week 7, but Dissly also missed practice due to a shoulder injury. Unless either tight end can squeeze in practice time, Eric Tomlinson or Stone Smartt will be next man up for the Chargers at tight end in Week 8.
