Quentin Johnston

Chargers WR Quentin Johnston (ankle) did not participate in Wednesday’s practice.

Johnston continues to be sidelined with an ankle injury he suffered in Week 6. Given he did not practice prior to being ruled out of Week 7, his non-participation is a concerning sign ahead of Week 8. Johnston will need to at least get a limited practice to play against the Saints Sunday. If he cannot go, there is a chance DJ Chark (groin), who was limited in Wednesday’s practice, could be activated off injured reserve to play on the perimeter for Week 8.
