Christian Kirk (calf) will be held out of the Jaguars’ preseason finale on Friday.

He will also not practice this week. Kirk is supposedly “feeling good,” but a second week of missed practice is notable. There is still plenty of time for Kirk to get healthy for Week 1, and that does seem like the most likely outcome at this point. Just know that calf issues are notorious for setbacks. Kirk’s injury has come as rookie first-rounder Brian Thomas continues to create buzz in Jags camp.
