Commanders signed WR Noah Brown, formerly of the Texans.

Washington wasted no time in securing wide receiver help for their newly anointed franchise quarterback after trading away Jahan Dotson earlier in the week. The team signed former Texans wide receiver Noah Brown to the active roster, giving him the chance to immediately step into the WR2 role for a team largely lacking proven options behind Terry McLaurin. Brown might start slow considering he’ll be learning a new offense in less than two weeks prior to their Week 1 game, but he has proven to be a capable receiver at the NFL level after putting up three games of 20 PPR points or more last season with the Texans on just three games with a snap rate over 80%.
