DeAndre Hopkins

DeAndre Hopkins

TENWR • #10

DeAndre Hopkins was limited to one catch and -2 receiving yards in the Titans’ Week 7 loss to the Bills.

Hopkins actually caught a six-yard pass but ended up with negative production because of a weird second quarter lateral play. Anyways ... so much for that, with “that” being the Titans’ switch to Mason Rudolph under center. Rudolph was scarcely better than Will Levis, though a bigger concern for Hopkins was Pro Football Focus’ Nathan Jahnke charting something of a Nuk rotation with Nick Westbrook-Ikhine. NWI caught Rudolph’s only score. The extenuating circumstances are bleak, but the bottom line is that Hopkins isn’t producing. He’ll be tough to rank inside the top 50 for Week 8 against the Lions. The Titans do project to have to pass in that one.
