DeVonta Smith

DeVonta Smith

PHLWR • #6

DeVonta Smith (hamstring) was removed from the injury report and will play in Super Bowl LIX against the Chiefs.

The most important takeaway from Smith’s two-week practice saga is that the team has cleared him to play on Super Bowl Sunday. He did, however, miss all three practices last week and remained limited in all three this week. The Eagles have lately embraced an extremely conservative approach to load management during the practice week but it would have been great to see Smith graduate to full participation today. He must now play through the nagging soft tissue issue.
