Diontae Johnson caught 1-of-3 targets for 17 yards in the Panthers’ Week 7 loss to the Commanders.

Johnson’s first reception came on the Panthers’ first offensive drive, which ended in a pick six by Andy Dalton. It was the worst fantasy outing of the season for Johnson with Dalton under center, but things aren’t likely to get any better in Week 8. The Panthers face a Broncos defense that’s allowing just 15.1 points per game and that has held their opponents under 200 passing yards in five of their seven games. Johnson will be hard to trust as anything more than a WR3 in what profiles as a tough outing on paper.
