D.K. Metcalf

SEAWR • #14

DK Metcalf caught 10-of-14 targets for 129 yards and a touchdown in the Seahawks’ Week 2 overtime victory over the Patriots.

It was a monster day for Metcalf, who set the tone with a 56-yard first quarter score where he took advantage of a Pats coverage mix-up to rampage down the left sideline. Beyond that were several of Metcalf’s patented tough chain-movers. He also had a few drops, but who is keeping count. Metcalf’s monster day came as Jaxon Smith-Njigba also cleared 10 grabs and 100 yards. Tyler Lockett managed just 2/15. Perhaps the guard finally is changing in this receiver corps, but Lockett had a productive Week 1. Metcalf’s strong start to the season will be tested in Week 3 against Jalen Ramsey’s Dolphins.
