ESPN’s Adam Schefter reports the Cowboys will interview Eagles OC Kellen Moore over the weekend regarding their head coaching vacancy.

This news comes not long after it was reported the Cowboys put in a request to speak with their former offensive coordinator. The Eagles face the Rams on Sunday in the NFC Divisional Round, but Moore will make time to sit down with his former team before then. Long considered to be a popular candidate to replace Mike McCarthy as the Cowboys’ head coach, Moore already as a rapport with several members of the Cowboys’ offense, including Dak Prescott and CeeDee Lamb. During his four-year run with with the Cowboys’ Moore’s offense ranked eighth in EPA per play and fourth in success rate. The Cowboys have other candidates on the radar, but Moore should remain an early favorite for the gig until things have a chance to play out a bit.
