Tyreek Hill
MIA • WR • #10
ESPN’s Marcel Louis-Jacques reports that Tyreek Hill underwent a second, pre-planned surgery to remove screws placed in his wrist during the first offseason surgery.
We now know why Hill underwent a second surgery. A prior report from NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero provided only big-picture notes on the matter. Temporary screws were drilled into Hill’s wrist during the first surgery to aid the healing process. This secondary report confirms that the follow-up procedure was done only to remove the hardware and was, in fact, pre-planned. Hill’s return to 2023 form is not guaranteed, but fantasy managers can rest assured that the most recent operation was not done to correct a complication or new issue. Mike McDaniel has maintained that Hill will not resume football activities until “around summertime going into training camp.”
