ESPN’s Rob Demovsky reports Jaire Alexander will have an MRI on his knee after Week 8’s win over the Jaguars.
Alexander limped off the field during Sunday’s win and appeared to have trouble putting weight on his right leg. The veteran corner has been dealing with a groin injury for much of this season and will now see if this latest injury will force him to miss any time. Entering Sunday, Alexander was sporting a 76.4 PFF coverage grade and was allowing a career-high 17.3 YPR. He also had two interceptions and two pass breakups. With a Week 9 game against the Lions on tap, the Packers could certainly use him against an explosive Lions passing attack.
