Giants beat writer Art Stapleton said RB Tyrone Tracy (ankle) was seen “running and cutting on far field with training staff” on Thursday.

This is a good sign for a player who was carted off the field and in a walking boot just two days ago. It’s worth noting that Tracy was not practicing with the team, but Stapleton said he “wouldn’t be surprised if Tracy is back at practice next week.” While this is just one reporter’s opinion based on observations, it does appear Tracy’s absence could be short-lived after dodging any concerns of a major injury.
