Travon Walker

Jaguars coach Liam Coen said the team has had contract extension discussions with Travon Walker.

Walker has had 20.5 sacks and started all 34 games the last two years for the Jaguars after being the No. 1 overall pick in 2022. A fifth-year option pickup is all but assured at this point. From there, the Jaguars have some space to negotiate with as they’ll hold his rights for the next two years. Walker remains an obvious piece of the Jaguars core even if the defense has underachieved in back-to-back seasons.
