James Cook

James Cook

BUFDG • #4

James Cook rushed 11 times for 39 yards and a touchdown in a win over the Jaguars, adding 48 yards on four catches as a receiver.

Cook’s day could have been much bigger but a 40-yard touchdown pass from Josh Allen went through his outstretched hands in the second quarter. It would have been a tough catch on a wheel route down the sideline, but one that Cook should have made. However, fantasy managers have nothing to be upset about. Cook struggled a bit when running into the heart of the Jaguars’ defensive line, but he had plenty of juice on his outside runs and as a receiver and had multiple red zone touches, including his six-yard touchdown run. If he’s going to continue to get rushes from inside the 10-yard line then he could easily finish this season as an RB1.
