Jaylen Waddle

Jaylen Waddle caught 4-of-4 targets for 41 yards in the Dolphins’ Week 2 loss to the Bills, adding a four-yard rush.

With the Bills’ defense dominating the proceedings before Tua Tagovailoa departed with a third quarter concussion, neither Waddle nor anyone else could stuff the stat sheet. The task, obviously, got that much harder following Tagovailoa’s departure. Whereas Tyreek Hill’s game is so unique as to almost be quarterback-proof, Waddle could have a tougher time as the secondary option. Of course, his check-down potential could also be in greater demand. Even if it’s Skylar Thompson starting against the Seahawks in Week 3 — which seems highly likely — we will probably keep Waddle in the top 24.
