Jets declared DT Quinnen Williams, NB Michael Carter II, DB Jarrick-Bernard Converse, OL Jake Hanson and DB Jaylin Simpson inactive for Week 16 against the Rams.
The Jets’ defensive line is already banged up, so losing Williams in the interior of that line is a big loss. Expect the Rams to try to exploit that with Kyren Williams early and often.
The Athletic’s Zack Rosenblatt believes Mason Taylor will “walk into the Jets building and immediately take his place at the top of the [tight end] depth chart.”
