Haason Reddick

Jets GM Joe Douglas released a statement saying, “We have informed Haason [Reddick] that we will not trade him.”

It took Douglas only a few minutes to put his foot down and let Reddick know where he and the team stand in this situation. In a complete statement posted to the team’s social media accounts, Douglas said, “We have informed Haason that we will not trade him, that he is expected to be here with his teammates, and that he will continue to be fined per the CBA if he does not report. Since the trade discussions back in March we have been clear, direct, and consistent with our position. Our focus will remain on the guys we have here as we prepare for the regular season.” We’re going to go out on a limb and assume this statement won’t be received too well by Reddick and his camp.
