Jets placed WR Mike Williams (ACL) on the active/PUP list.

It’s not a surprise for a player who had yet to be cleared for football activities as of late May. Rehabbing since last September, Williams has the kind of timeline that would normally have him ready for Week 1. He claimed in March that would indeed be the case. Aaron Rodgers is famed for his close connections with certain wideouts, so any missed practice time is going to cost Williams even if he is a well-paid veteran. Currently the WR61 in summer best ball drafts, Williams is shaping up as something of a 2024 freebie.
