Justin Herbert

Jim Harbaugh told reporters that Justin Herbert suffered a leg contusion in Week 14 against the Chiefs.

The Athletic’s Daniel Popper reports “Herbert said he thinks he took a helmet to the knee on the play” and observed Herbert “walking with a slight limp in the locker room” post-game. Herbert remained down for some time after taking a big hit and briefly spent time on the sideline, chatting with Harbaugh before jogging around on the injured leg. Herbert appears to have escaped Week 14 without a serious injury and should be good to go against the Buccaneers in Week 15.
