Joe Flacco

Joe Flacco

INDQB • #15

Joe Flacco completed 22-of-38 passes for 189 yards, two touchdowns and one interception in the Colts’ 20-17, Week 6 win over the Titans.

A last-minute starter — at least publicly — Flacco came back down to earth after his rowdy Week 5, but he still easily out-dueled Will Levis. Flacco was dealing with injuries all over his receiver corps, but Josh Downs (toe) and Michael Pittman (back) both contributed several big catches. Flacco also had a long Alec Pierce DPI that doesn’t show up in the box score. Although Flacco’s typical performance will undoubtedly be somewhere between this one and last week’s more prolific effort, he probably still gives the Colts a better chance to win than Anthony Richardson right now. The question, of course, is what the Colts want to prioritize. Flacco isn’t their future, to put it mildly. Our best guess is that Richardson will be cleared to return from his oblique issue in Week 7 against the Dolphins.
