Joe Mixon rushed 12 times for 23 yards in Houston’s Week 15 win over the Dolphins, adding five catches for 33 yards on six targets.

Mixon briefly left this game after a hip-drop tackle appeared to hurt his ankle. He played through the injury, but the loss of burst was notable. Dare Ogunbowale saw the majority of the work behind Mixon, but he’d just be a third-down back if Mixon’s status was in question for Week 16’s game against the Chiefs. Dameon Pierce would likely handle the majority of the load. Mixon would remain an RB1, albeit in a tough game script, if he plays against the Chiefs.
