Joe Mixon rushed 14 times for 57 yards in Houston’s Week 16 loss to the Chiefs.

He added one catch for 14 yards on two targets. Mixon converted a key third down in the red zone early, but he had nowhere to go for most of the game. He had runs of 13 yards and 20 yards, and then also 12 more carries that combined for 24 yards. It’s possible Mixon’s involvement in the passing game will increase with Tank Dell’s absence, but he’s barely scratching the RB1 borderline in Week 17 after back-to-back tough games.
