Joe Mixon

Joe Mixon rushed 24 times for 106 yards with a touchdown in the Texans’ Week 9 loss to the Jets.

He wasn’t targeted in the passing game. Mixon picked up 91 of those yards in the first half despite having a couple of long rushes taken away via penalty. He made a tackler miss on a touchdown late in the second quarter to give the Texans’ a 7-0 lead, but found the sledding tougher over the final 30 minutes. Still, Mixon has reached the century mark in four straight games with five touchdowns in that time frame, and will get a chance to keep the good run going against the Lions in Week 10.
