Jonathon Brooks (knee) won’t play in Week 7 against the Commanders.

This was to be expected. Brooks returned to practice earlier this week, and The Athletic’s Joe Person wrote on Tuesday that he believes a Week 9 return is “a realistic target” for the rookie running back. Brooks took the field in a limited capacity for two of the team’s three practices this week, but should continue to ramp things up in the coming days.
