Whittington seemingly earned Sean McVay’s trust as the game progressed, playing 7-of-29 offensive snaps (24.1 percent) in the first half and 16-of-30 snaps (53.3 percent) in the second half. He notably handled 7-of-27 wide receiver snaps (25.9 percent) in 12 personnel and lined up in the slot on 10-of-23 total snaps (43.5 percent). Whittington is a smart bench stash heading into Week 4 against the Bears.
