Justin Herbert

Justin Herbert

LACQB • #10

Justin Herbert completed 12-of-18 passes for 125 yards and one touchdown in the Chargers’ 20-10, Week 3 loss to the Steelers.

It was a conservative offensive effort all around for the Chargers, as their first loss of the season was made worse with Herbert’s exit. Herbert was considered a game-time decision heading into the day with the injury but played through two and a half quarters before exiting in the third. His highlight play came on a wide-open 27-yard touchdown pass to Quentin Johnston, but it would be the only touchdown the Chargers would muster on the afternoon. Taylor Heinicke replaced Herbert in the third quarter and would be considered the favorite to start in Week 4 if Herbert is unable to go against the Chiefs.
